Our annual Teddy Bear Walk is part of an entire month of Teddy Bear celebrations this year!
Teddy Bear Scavenger Hunt
Are you ready for a bear hunt? Come visit the library to find all the colorful bears hidden in the Youth Services department. If you prefer to stay outside you can take a walk around the library and see how many bears you can spot in the windows. Make sure to look up!
Virtual Teddy Bear Walk
Don’t miss this “beary” good time as the library celebrates the annual Teddy Bear Walk! Bring along your teddy bear and join us on Zoom for juggling and comedy from Chris Fascione and songs from Parents’ Choice Gold Winner Mark Dvorak. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library. This program will be presented using Zoom. Participants must register and provide a working email address to receive the login information.
Teddy Bear Walk: Santa Claus is Coming to Town
This event will take place in front of Village Hall.
For all ages.
What’s that sound? It’s a fire truck, no it’s Santa riding on a Mount Prospect Fire Department fire engine! Enjoy a safe, socially distanced visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, who will greet families in front of Village Hall. Get bundled up, snap a quick picture, then pick up a craft kit to take home, while supplies last. Stop by anytime between 1-1:30 p.m.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
Santa’s Mailbox
Send a message to Santa and get a message back! Santa’s helpers in Youth Services are accepting letters between November 23 and December 14.
Download a Letter to Santa template in English.
Download a Letter to Santa template in Spanish.
Send your child’s letter via email to Santa@mppl.org, mail to the library at 10 S. Emerson Street in Mount Prospect, or stop by Youth Services or the South Branch to deliver it in person.
Be sure to include your email or mailing address so we can pass along Santa’s response!
