Our ePRINTit system offers more secure, authenticated printing from any device that has internet enabled. Print from a computer, laptop, or other device here at the Library, from the comfort of home, from work; seriously–print from anywhere!

Black and white prints are $.10 per page and color prints are $.25 per page, print limit $30 per print job. To print, you may use cash or a credit card. Print jobs will be held for 24 hours, so if you can’t come pick up your print job right away, not to worry.

How does it work?

Print from the Web

The easiest way is to go to our ePRINTit portal. Click Login to enter your library card number or Guest to enter your name, attach the file you want to print, and click submit. If you would like a receipt confirmation of your submission, you also have the option to enter your email address.

Print by Email

To print an email message or attachment, simply forward your email to:

You will be sent release instructions which can be used to retrieve your printouts.

Print by App

If you print via mobile consistently, there is also an app option available. To print using your smartphone or tablet device, you can download ePRINTit’s app, ePRINTit SaaS.

Free Printing and Copying 

Mount Prospect Public Library cardholders have free printing and copying credits added to their library account annually. Your MPPL card must be in good standing and unexpired for the credits to be added.  

Credits can be used for

  • 200 pages of black and white printing and copying or
  • 80 pages of color printing and copying
  • Or any combination thereof

 Use your credits

  • To copy, scan your library barcode at the copier.
  • To print from a library computer, log in with your library barcode and use that barcode at the printer.
  • For the Simple Scan Station inside the library, choose “Scan to Print” and enter your library barcode; use that barcode at the printer.
  • To print from home, phone, or laptop, send the job as a file via the ePRINTit portal or app. Choose “Login” and enter your library barcode and PIN.

Free printing credits are non-transferrable, non-refundable, have no cash value, and the credits do not carry over from year to year. Free printing credits will reset at the beginning of each calendar year.
