Kids Fiesta
Día del Niño, or Children’s Day, is a special day celebrated annually on April 30 in Mexico. It has become a beloved tradition in the United States.
Just like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, children have their special day! On Día del Niño, kids are encouraged to feel cherished and loved. In Mexico and other Latin countries, a variety of festivities take place, including music, shows, magic performances, and special events designed just for children.
This joyful holiday is a wonderful opportunity to show children how much they are valued and loved! Join us for a fun Día del Niño celebration for children of all ages and their families!

Esli serves as the Youth Outreach Librarian for the Mount Prospect Library. Her role involves catering to the changing needs of the community through various means such as providing library resources, conducting outreach activities, Spanish interpretation and translations, and organizing programs like Homeschool Hangout, Bilingual Lotería, and Developmental Playgroup. Esli is committed to making library resources easily accessible to everyone in the community and strives to engage patrons and partners wherever they may be.
