The Brainfuse JobNow resource provides Mount Prospect Public Library cardholders with support for every step of the job search process and is accessible from home or the library. JobNow features the following services:   

Live Interview Coaching: Brush up on interview techniques or get live online interview practice from trained job coaches. Coaches are available via live chat from 1-10 p.m. CST. In addition to live interview coaching, patrons have access to interview tips and career resources.  

Resume Lab: Submit your resume any time through the JobNow Resume Lab and a job coach will send it back within one business day with detailed feedback and suggestions for improvement. Users are also able to download resume templates or browse resources to help produce better resumes.  

Career Resources: Access a carefully selected library of job resources 24/7. Additionally, job coaches can help users strategically target jobs best suited to their interests and qualifications.  

Adult Learning Center: Provides foundational, career-enhancing skills to job seekers as well as test (including the GED and the USCIS citizenship test) preparation help. Additionally, the unique academic skills center features live, online tutors.
