I am reviewing the book Rainbow Fish.
This book is about how no one would play with a little fish. One day a shark came and everyone hid in the reef. The shark was going to eat the little fish. I wondered as we were reading it if the Rainbow Fish and his friends were ever going to be nice to the little fish. Will Rainbow Fish save him?
This was a good book. I liked it very much because the Rainbow Fish saves the little fish and that was nice of him to do that. This book is not like any other book we have ever read before, because we have never read a book about a fish saving another fish. We have read other books by Marcus Pfister because they have the rainbow fish in them. There is something unique about this book. The pictures are unique because they are shiny.

I recommend this book because it was very good. We recommend it to people who like fish. You will learn the lesson to be nice to people even if they are not very pretty

 I read a book titled Caps For Sale.  A man was selling caps, but no one in town heard  the man. So no one came. Then the man stopped by a tree and in that tree were 10 monkeys and they stole his caps. The man found out that the monkeys did what he did. Then the man threw his cap. The monkeys did it too. That is how he got his caps back.

I’m ready to review another book (I think that I’m getting back into the book reviewing groove!).
The book is called Idora by Alex Godard.  This tale is about a lonely giraffe named Idora. She lives in a small apartment in Paris, France, with her cat, Sinbad. She really wants to go to the sea, and when her apartment building is sold, and is going to be knocked down, she escapes the filthy city of Paris and makes for the beautiful, blue Mediterranean. On the way, I think she meets some other giraffes and they become her friends, because in the book says that “The air smelled on lavender and pine…. The world was full of hope…. Idora took a deep breath. She felt very excited and very happy”.
The book was sort of odd, and the pictures made the book very confusing. It was short, and, well, an OKAY read.

I admit that I read this book, but I read it to my little cousin. It is called Little Miss Naughty by Roger Hargreaves. This book is about Miss Naughty. She is a little brat that plays nasty pranks on other people like: jumping on Mr. Uppity’s hat, breaking Mr. Clever’s glasses, stealing Mr. Bump’s bandages, and then using them to tie up Mr. Small. So, Mr. Small went to his friend, Mr. Impossible, and asked him for some help. Mr. Impossible then turned invisible. Whenever Miss Naughty was going to commit a bad joke, the invisible man tweaked her nose. By the end of the week, Miss Naughty had a bright red nose, and she was cured of naughtiness. This book is probably good for preschoolers and kindergarteners. It’s only about 16 pages long.

I just finished reading The New Baby Calf by Edith Newlin Chase.  It is a heartwarming tale where a mother cow, Buttercup, gives birth to a feeble, young calf.  The book tells of the things that the little calf does on his small farm somewhere in the U.S or Canada.  The calf’s experiances with the geese, farmer, dogs, chickens, pigs, and even some sassy ally cats are unforgettable! Also, the pictures in the book are definently works of art.  For a cozy book to read on a cold, rainy day, try this book!
