Friday Funday

Everybody loves Fridays! School’s out and the whole weekend is ahead of you. It’s time for some fun!

Join us in the Teen Space on Friday Funday each month for a fun activity. Technology, crafts, gaming — we’ll explore something different every time. The main ingredient is you!

Exam Cram for Finals Week

Are you looking for a place to study for your high school finals? Stop by the Teen Space!

We will have snacks, study supplies, and de-stressing activities, including a visit from therapy dogs. Come every afternoon and evening from May 29-31. There will also be free 15-minute tutoring sessions available on Tuesday, May 29.

For teens in 9th-12th grades.

New Teen Space on Second Floor!

Welcome to the new Teen Space on the second floor. This is a new area for anyone in 6th through 12th grade to hangout, study, and have fun! Check out this video to learn more.

Tortorice’s Pizza won the Teen Costumed Pizza Taste-Off!


This past Friday (10/30) we had a awesomely fun teen program called Costume Pizza Taste-Off.  Teens were able to sample cheese pizza from 5 local pizza establishments and vote for their favorite.  The votes are in and Tortorice’s pizza is the favorite!

Those who voted for Tortorice’s commented that they thought the cheese was really good and the taste was richer.

Teen Open Lab: 3D Pumpkin Design

Teens had a lot of fun designing pumpkins during Teen Open Lab. Check out the video below to see how to make a pumpkin using Tinkercad, a free online app for creating CAD designs.

Join Us for the Teen Knitting/Crocheting Club!

Are you an expert with knitting or crochet needles, just learning, or want to learn?  Then join us on Friday, September 4, from 4 – 6 p.m. for the monthly Teen Knitting/Crocheting Club meeting at the Library.  We have yarn, needles, and the know-how to teach the basics of knitting and crocheting. You can also bring your own supplies – and your friends – for an afternoon of sharing ideas and conversation. Refreshments will be served.
