We’re Here to Help!
We can visit your classroom to share books and resources, help register families for library cards at special events, coordinate professional development opportunities, provide materials to supplement curriculum, and more!
To request a visit or get more information, contact Elementary School Services Outreach Coordinator, Ms. Megan, at firstname.lastname@example.org or fill out our visit request form.
Visiting the library is a great way to introduce your students to all of the resources we offer.
Get to know an author or illustrator and explore their work!
Secret Lives of Librarians
Go behind the scenes of the library and see how a book goes from the loading dock to your house!
Book Bag Service
Complete the online request form to request materials. In addition to books, we can send a wide variety of other materials to help support your teaching.
Library of Things Jr.
Are you looking for more manipulatives and games to use with your students?
You can check out items from our Library of Things Jr as part of the Book Bag service!
The Margin Project
For 3rd to 5th graders. Take a book home, write down your thoughts in the margins, and pass it on to a friend!
Early Reader Backpacks
The library has ready made Early Reader Backpacks that include a selection of books on the same reading level and a literacy activity to further develop early literacy skills. We also have Spanish/English bilingual bags! If you need even more books on a level for your students, we can do that, too.
