Things are changing in the world of reading instruction. For parents and caregivers of children learning to read, trying to make sense of unfamiliar terms like “decodables” or “science of reading” can be confusing and overwhelming. The good news: librarians are here to help!
We’re honoring November’s National Family Literacy Month with a variety of programs that explore and celebrate your child’s journey toward independent reading. With options for growing readers, adults, or the whole family, there are tons of opportunities to build confidence and get excited about learning to read!
