Want to help out the Friends?  We have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities to meet just about any level of involvement.

Book Sales Volunteers

Thursday night set up crew.

The Friends need volunteers to perform a variety of roles during our book sales. Book sale shifts generally last around 2 ½-3 hours. We also need help setting up on Thursday night before the sale and taking down on Sunday after the sale closes. Thursday night set up generally takes about 2 hours, and post-sale take down takes about 1 hour. (We’re done when the library closes at 5:00 p.m.)

Publicity Volunteers

The Friends also need volunteers to help get window flyers up at locations around town.  Flyer distribution generally takes about 1 hour.

Want to help out the friends but have no spare time? 

How about putting one of our stylish yard signs in your front lawn to let your neighbors know about the upcoming sale?  This type of advertising is super easy for you and invaluable to the Friends.
