Sebastian is encouraged by his fiancé to bring his Italian hairdresser father Salvo to a weekend get-together to meet her wealthy and eccentric family. As the weekend turns into an outrageous clash of cultures, Sebastian and Salvo discover that the great thing about family is everything about family.

The production of a play is fraught with drama and romance in and of itself, from its writing and casting to rehearsals and staging. Onstage, the itinerary of a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention is spectacularly disrupted by world-changing events while each attendee and their family members deal with their own interpersonal issues.
