Summer Reading 2025 Teen Volunteers
The library is looking for teens who will be entering grades 7-12 to help us with summer reading. Volunteers will greet families, register children, hand out prizes, and more!
Volunteer shifts will run June 9-August 1, and all volunteers must complete mandatory training before their first shift.
More information and applications will be available here beginning April 15.

The Friends of the Mount Prospect Public Library Volunteers
Consider volunteering for the Friends. The Friends of the Mount Prospect Public Library is a growing group that actively supports programs and initiatives of the library with funds made possible by generous members and dedicated volunteers. The Friends are currently looking for volunteers to help with book sales and an individual to help coordinate volunteers for events and activities.

Consider helping the Mount Prospect Public Library Foundation. Your support for the Foundation allows the library to continue to provide exciting programs and services not possible through public funding. The Foundation is looking for help with special events and behind-the-scenes projects. They are also seeing individuals interested in joining the board.
