Does MPPL save my checkout history?

By default, MPPL does not save patron checkout history. Patrons choose for themselves to opt-in and enable this service.

How do I enable and save my checkout history?

To save your checkout history, please follow these steps:

  • Log in to My Account
  • Click on the Personal Information tab
  • Scroll to the bottom section to Preferences
  • Click on the drop-down box next to Save My Checkout History to change the setting to Enabled
  • Click on the Update box to save your changes
Under preferences, choose "Enabled" for Save my checkout history, then click Update.

If I come to the Library, can someone help me set this up?

Yes, of course. Please come to Patron Services, we are happy to help you.

Does checkout history include eMedia?

No. Library account history will only show physical materials, not digital services such as Overdrive, Hoopla, Kanopy, or RBdigital.

How long will the checkout history be retained on my account?

Once set up, checkout history will be saved for 5 years. It doesn’t start until you enable it.

If I enable the service, can I see checkout history on the app?

Yes.

I have family members linked to the MPPL app. Can I see their checkout history?

Yes. Just as you can see current checkouts for linked accounts, if this service is enabled, then you will be able to see checkout history.
