Study rooms for individuals and small groups requiring a private workspace are available at the Library and can be reserved for up to two hours per day. Advance reservations for study rooms can be made up to one week in advance by:
- Mount Prospect residents
- Students of Mount Prospect schools
- Employees of Mount Prospect businesses or government
Identification will be requested to verify residency. Reservations for nonresidents are available on a walk-in basis. Patrons may reserve a room at the Research or Youth Desks, by chat, or by calling 847-253-5675.
Second floor study rooms
2A – Accommodates up to 15 people, minimum of 3 people required, screen with HDMI cable and whiteboard.
2B – Accommodates up to 8 people, whiteboard.
2C, 2D, 2E – Accommodates up to 4 people.
2F, 2G – Accommodates up to 8 people, whiteboard.
2H, 2I – Accommodates up to 8 people, screen with HDMI cable and whiteboard.
2J – Accommodates up to 10 people, PC with large screen monitor (50”) and webcam, table-top power and HDMI connection for patron devices. Use of this room is restricted to patrons 18 and older.
First floor study rooms
Two study rooms are available on the first floor in the Youth Department that will accommodate up to 6 people. Priority will be given to children and adults working with children.
