Two full time positions available. Duties include installation, maintenance and minor repair of all computers and their peripherals. Performs on-call computer help desk duties for staff and patrons. Requires thorough knowledge of Windows, standard office and Internet application software. Excellent communication skills, HS diploma required. College/technical training computer science highly desirable. $30,654 annual pay. Benefits and IMRF position.

Janitor – Building Services Department

Part-time Janitor position available. The janitor position is responsible for the general cleaning and upkeep of the Library building and property inside and outside. It also involves meeting room setup and assisting with building security. Job requires the ability to perform medium to heavy work. High school diploma or GED. Some previous commercial janitorial experience a plus. $12.56 per hour.

Schedule:
Sunday   9 am to 3 pm
Monday   7 am to 1 pm

Successful candidate will oversee Collections and Staff Development/Training for the Library. Ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to excellent Collections and Staff Development/Training. Will hold and voice a strong appreciation and understanding of non-public departments and public service. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with department managers, all levels of employees, staff committees, community groups, and residents is expected. Excellent project management skills, problem solving, communication skills, and operational management skills are needed. Required: MLS from ALA accredited library school. Progressively responsible management experience in a public library. Minimum of seven years of management and administrative experience. $66,300 annual salary. IMRF benefit position.
