The library mobile app is unavailable until a new app is released.
In late November we notified the community that the library mobile app was not working. We are sorry to report that the MPPL app is no longer functional. We are working to create a new app as quickly as possible, with an anticipated launch date of spring 2024.
The loss of functionality was unexpected and caused by a dispute between the two vendors who provided the app. Please note there was no cyberattack, and data was not compromised.
This situation has disappointed everyone and impacted MPPL and libraries nationwide. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
Here’s the latest:
- We recommend you delete the current app from your mobile devices because the information is no longer accurate.
- Log into catalog.mppl.org using your library card number and PIN to place holds or manage your account.
- We’ve added a digital barcode you can find by clicking “My Account.” You can use the barcode to check out materials at the self-checkout stations, hold lockers, and at the Patron Services desk.
