Fair Housing 101

Everyone has the right to live where they choose, free from discrimination. The Fair Housing Act protects renters and homebuyers from discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status, or disability. A representative from HOPE Fair Housing Center will provide a brief history of the fair housing movement, highlight different protections under the Fair Housing Act, and offer strategies on how to identify possible cases of housing discrimination. This program is to provide general information and is for educational purposes only.
