What began as a vision for enhanced spaces to study, collaborate, and explore technology at the Main Library has now come to fruition, marking the successful completion of our renovation project.

The result is an inviting, multi-use floor designed to serve our patrons for years to come. It features individual study pods, a new technology lab, teen spaces, study rooms, a quiet reading area, and a relocated genealogy collection. Whether you are looking for a quiet spot to focus or an environment to work together, the updated space has something for everyone.

Funding for the project came from the library’s Capital Projects Fund, grants, and private donations, including generous contributions from the Friends of the Mount Prospect Public Library and the Mount Prospect Public Library Foundation.
