The Mount Prospect Public Library announces new operating hours at the Main Library and South Branch effective January 1, 2023. The change reflects library usage and community feedback. The new hours are: 

Main Library:

Monday-Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 

South Branch:

Monday-Friday: 11:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Saturday: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Please visit the Main Library and South Branch to browse materials, use computers, or ask questions of our expert staff. The library continues to offer Parking Lot Pickup and Home Delivery services, as well.
