You play an important role in protecting the right to read. Here’s how you can help:

• Support access to a wide range of ideas and viewpoints, even those with which you may not personally agree.
• Make choices at the library based on what’s right for you and your family and respect the right of others to make their own choices.
• Encourage thoughtful discussion and understanding.

With millions of items to explore spanning 200 languages, covering more than 70,000 subjects, by tens of thousands of authors, available in a wide range of formats, there’s something for everyone at the library.
