Director of Business Operations

Are you an experienced leader and manager with a passion for working collaboratively and a talent for finance? Mount Prospect Public Library is seeking a Full Time Director of Business Operations to join the Executive Team to help lead the future of the Library.  This senior position is responsible for directing overall fiscal and business practices and ensures Library adheres to stringent financial control protocols. Also involves working closely with contracts and library data and statistical information.

Required: excellent analytic, quantitative, and problem solving skills; ability to think strategically, abstractly and conceptually; ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff; demonstrated leadership and public speaking.

Bachelor of Business Administration or comparable graduate degree required. Progressively responsible experience in finance operations. Government, and non profit experience a plus. Library experience/degree a plus. Excellent project management skills. Minimum of 10 years experience in finance.

Salary: $80,000 dependent on qualifications. IMRF position.
