Acquisitions Assistant – Collection and Bibliographic Services Department

This part-time position reports to the Acquisitions Supervisor, and performs tasks such as purchasing and receiving materials, entering on order records, creating purchase orders, data entry and searching, deliveries, filing, copying and scanning; entering and verifying invoices and submitting claims when needed. Responsible for specific acquisitions tasks, e.g., reference standing orders. Bachelor’s degree required. Attention to detail is a critical skill for this position. Excel proficiency required. SirsiDynix Horizon experience a plus. Bilingual a plus. IMRF benefits. Pay $17 per hour

Tue: 8:30am – 2:00pm (5.5hrs)
Wed: 8:00am – 2:00pm (6hrs)
Thu: 8:30am – 2:00pm (5.5hrs)
Fri: 8:00am – 2:00pm (6hrs)
