The library catalog is unavailable from September 26-30.
The catalog is down as MPPL prepares to join the Cooperative Computer Services (CCS) catalog consortium, a group of 30 local libraries that share library materials. This will bring MPPL cardholders a greatly expanded catalog of over 7 million items, shorter wait times for holds, an easy-to-use system, and lowered costs for the library.
Although you cannot check the catalog or your account during downtime, library staff are here to help! If you need any assistance or have any questions, please contact us. Stop by, chat us, call the library at (847) 253-5675, or email us at info@mppl.org.
You can still check out materials while the catalog is down, but you must have your library card number with you or on your phone. You can also return your materials, but they will not be checked in until after October 1.
You can still use all of our electronic materials and use our databases and web resources!
