Zombies vs. Unicorns

Zombies-vs-unicorns Apparently it is an age-old question: Which is better, the zombie or the unicorn?

Not only is there a website devoted to this dilemma, but there is also a book.  Holly Black and Justine Larbalestier have edited a book of short stories together on this exact issue.  The premise is simple, Zombies vs. Unicorns has short stories arguing for either zombies or unicorns from some well-known teen authors: Garth Nix, Carrie Ryan, Maureen Johnson, Scott Westerfeld, Meg Cabot, Cassandra Clare, Libba Bray, and others.  The argument of zombies vs. unicorns all began when the two authors/editors, Holly Black and Justine Larbalestier, began arguing for their respective preferences in blog posts.  Black favors unicorns, while Larbalestier cheers for zombies.  I have to say I think I am more interested zombies, but they do have the gross factor.  Unicorns are nice and safe, but being a fan of Holly Black’s writing I am sure there is some dark side to unicorns…

Pick this book up at the Library today, and choose your side!
