Marina Grey packs up for a cruise, but this is not just any old cruise. In this cruise it is a Semester at Sea cruise, where Marina will be going to the Bahamas, Utila, and Samana. Along her semester at sea, Marina meets some very interesting characters. There is Natalia (Talia) from down south with a thick southern drawl and is great friends with Rheanna (Rhee) from France, who is not the friendliest of them all. Marina bunks with a girl named Jeanette. Marina also encounters Ryan, a photography lover from Canada and then there is Lincoln (Link) an Australian white water rafting tour guide, who comes to learn and while learning steals Marina’s heart.

During Marina’s time on board she helps rescue a baby dolphin that got caught in a net and she also helps her new mates find their own talents. This book is a great read. I could not put it down and it was one of the best books I have ever read. The book is great because it is about an ordinary girl that is not popular or rich, but she has passion and talents. Marina rocks and shows people who are putting her down that she doesn’t care what they think of her. She travels everywhere and as you read it you learn about different places that she has traveled. She also finds love while on board, which can make things a little bit interesting, especially when she tries to ignore it. This book is a great read and I sincerely recommend it for anyone who wants to get away from the cold and jump into a fun, warm, and hilarious read!
