The Fault in Our Stars by John Green is one of the best books I’ve ever picked up! Although, it was a little slow in the beginning, it drew me in and kept me reading until the very last word.

Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
YA COLLINS, S.
It was a great book. My favorite part is when they’re in the arena. The book had me reading while the rest of my family was asleep at night.

The Lying Game by Sara Shepard
YA SHEPARD, S.
It might be a lie that I like this book or not, what do you think? It was unknown to Emma that she had a twin sister and now there was a video with her sister being murdered. Emma now has to be Sutton because nobody believes Sutton’s dead. Can Emma put the pieces together or not?

The Madman’s Daughter by Megan Shepherd
YA SF SHEPHERD, M.
A disturbing concept, yet fun to follow, with tons of romance. This book was thrilling, horror-filled, and just disturbing. With a twist at the end that I would have never imagined, this was a book that had me read it in one go. 4 out of 5 stars.

The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender by Leslye J. Walton
YA WALTON, L.
This book certainly lives up to its title, being both strange and beautiful. With its lyrical writing and emotional twists and turns, this book is easily the best one I’ve read all year and a book I’d recommend to anyone.
