Book Trailer of the Week– Curtsies & Conspiracies by Gail Carriger

This week’s book trailer of the week is for Curtsies  & Conspiracies by Gail Carriger.  This is the sequel to Carriger’s first book in the Finishing School series, Etiquette & Espionage.  In this second book Sophronia is thriving at Mademoiselle Geraldine’s Finishing Academy.  However, Sophronia’s inquisitive nature takes over once again as she tries to get to the bottom of why the school is travelling to London.  Of course, her digging and spying get her in a lot of trouble when she uncovers a big conspiracy.  Click here to find Curtsies and Conspiracies in the Library!

Book Trailer of the Week– Muckers by Sandra Neil Wallace

This week’s book trailer of the week is for Muckers by Sandra Neil Wallace.  This novel is based on true events and is set in the small town of Hatley, Arizona, in 1950.  Red O’Sullivan is the high school quarterback that is desperately trying to make something of his football team.  Since the town numbers are dwindling, due to the nearby mine closing, he’s losing teammates left and right.  His team also doesn’t have that many resources, and racial tensions are also making it hard on the team.  Can Red and the team be the rallying underdog that the town needs?  Click here to find Muckers in the Library!

Book Trailer of the Week– I Hunt Killers by Barry Lyga

This week’s book trailer of the week is for I Hunt Killers by Barry Lyga.  I Hunt Killers is a great book to read this time of year!  It is filled with creepy horror and a great mystery that will keep you turning every page.  I Hunt Killers centers on Jazz whose father is a notorious serial killer that is locked up in jail.  Before Jazz’s dad was found out, he taught Jazz everything he knew about killing.  Now a teen, Jazz struggles with his identity, worrying that he will turn out just like his father.  So, when the copycat murders of his father’s begin, Jazz is determined to solve the mystery to prevent others from suspecting him.  Click here to find I Hunt Killers in the Library!

Book Trailer of the Week– Frozen by Melissa de la Cruz and Michael Johnston

This week’s book trailer of the week is for Frozen by Melissa de la Cruz and Michael JohnstonFrozen is the first book in a new post-apocalyptic dystopian series by best-selling author Melissa de la Cruz and her husband, Michael Johnston.  It is set in a future America where a natural disaster has created a new Ice Age.  Main character, Nat, is a blackjack dealer in New Vegas, where corruption and illegal activity rule.  Nat is one of the Marked, which means she has some kind of special power, but being Marked is not normal. Nat knows there is a place where life can be better for her, and she knows it is called Blue.  To get there Nat hires Wes and his group of misfits to help her find it, but with the possibility that Blue doesn’t really exist and traitors in the group, Nat and Wes’ journey is a difficult one. Book Trailer of the Week– Prophecy by Ellen Oh

This week’s book trailer of the week is for Prophecy by Ellen OhProphecy is the first book in the new Dragon King Chronicles, where Oh creates a fantasy medieval world where one girl has the power to save everyone.  Kira knows she is a demon slayer, since she has been able to sniff out demons (literally) since birth.  However, this ability has made her an outcast and the only friends she finds are in those she is assigned to protect.  Click here to find Prophecy in the Library!

Book Trailer of the Week– Boy Nobody by Allen Zadoff

This week’s book trailer of the week is for Boy Nobody by Allen Zadoff.  If you are a fan of the Jason Bourne books/movies, then you should definitely pick up Boy Nobody!  The main character, Boy Nobody, is a deadly teenage assassin.  He gets his assignments from an organization called, “The Program”.  Usually, Boy Nobody’s assignments are low profile, but that is not the case for his latest target: the mayor of New York City.  Boy Nobody is told to use the mayor’s daughter, Sam, to get close to him, but the one thing Boy Nobody didn’t train for happens when he develops feelings for Sam.  Now, Boy Nobody is questioning all his training and beliefs about “The Program”.  Click here to find Boy Nobody in the Library!

Book Trailer of the Week– Spellcaster by Claudia Gray

This week’s book trailer of the week is for Spellcaster by Claudia Gray.  Nadia’s mother has gone away and her father has moved her family to a small Rhode Island town called Captive Sound.  Nadia is not like most teen girls, she knows she’s a witch just like her mother, but her mother left her before her training was complete.  In her new home, Nadia senses that something isn’t quite right.  Along with some new friends (one of which is a potential love interest, but also cursed), Nadia sets out to use her novice powers to stop an evil that is bent on destroying the town.  Click here to find Spellcaster in the Library!

Book Trailer of the Week– The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman

Book Trailer of the Week– The Gathering by Kelley Armstrong
