Book Trailer of the Week– The Family Romanov by Candace Fleming

This week’s book trailer of the week is for The Family Romanov: Murder, Rebellion & the Fall of Imperial Russia by Candace Fleming.  This work of nonfiction chronicles the downfall of the Romanov family, Russia’s last royal family.  Fleming uses primary sources like photographs, letters, and diaries to tell the family’s story.  It is one of drama and mystery.  This book will also give you a look at the Russian Revolution and what led the peasants and working class of Russia to revolt.  Click here to find The Family Romanov in the Library!

Book Trailer of the Week– The Blessed by Tonya Hurley

This week’s book trailer of the week is for The Blessed by Tonya Hurley.  This novel centers on three different teenage girls.  Each of these girls finds themselves in the same emergency room on the same night.  Agnes is the kind of girl who tries to do everything right, but ends up feeling miserable, and tries to kill herself after her most recent breakup.  Cecilia is a very talented musician, but she is heading down the wrong path and parties a little too hard.  Then there’s Lucy.  She is a famous socialite who has everything anyone could want, unfortunately, that comes with a price, and she is brought into the ER because of an accidental overdose.  After each of these girls are treated and released from the ER, they are visited by an enigmatic stranger.  What follows is a strange story that connects the three girls’ fates together as they mirror the saints they are named for.  Sebastian holds the key, however, to the truth about why these girls’ lives mirror the saints’ lives.  Click here to find The Blessed in the Library!

Book Trailer of the Week– Conversion by Katherine Howe

This week’s book trailer of the week is for Conversion by Katherine Howe.   Conversion is part medical mystery and inspired by the Salem Witch Trials.  Colleen is in her final semester at St. Joan’s High School, and when some of her fellow classmates begin to fall to a mysterious illness, Colleen researches the similarities between what is happening at her school and what happened back during the Salem Witch Trials.  What Colleen discovers, however, may be more dangerous than her classmates cracking under the pressure of finals.  Click here to find Conversion in the Library!

Book Trailer of the Week– Zac and Mia by A.J. Betts

This week’s book trailer of the week is for Zac and Mia by A.J. Betts.  If you are a fan of The Fault in Our Stars, then you will definitely want to check out Zac and Mia.  This novel is about Zac who is recovering from a bone marrow transplant, due to his battle with Leukemia, in the pediatric oncology ward.  While recovering, Mia moves into the room next door.  She is battling osteosarcoma, and is angry.  Zac and Mia soon bond, first via Facebook, and then in person as they battle their illnesses and find strength in each other.  Click here to find Zac and Mia in the Library!

Book Trailer of the Week– Drowned by Nichola Reilly

Book Trailer of the Week– Au Revoir, Crazy European Chick by Joe Schreiber

This week’s book trailer of the week is for Au Revoir, Crazy European Chick by Joe Schreiber.  Perry is your normal teenage guy, he is a little bit on the geeky side, but deals with the normal pressures that a high school senior deals with– choosing the right college, working at his dad’s work, and dealing with the pressure his parents put on him to achieve the best.  However, there is one thing in Perry’s life that isn’t that normal, his family’s Lithuanian exchange student named Gobi.  A majority of this novel takes place on one night, a night that will change Perry’s life forever, the night that Perry takes Gobi to the prom and learns that Gobi is actually a 24-year-old trained assassin who has commandeered Perry to be her driver for the night while she hunts down those she has been assigned to kill.  Click here to find Au Revoir, Crazy European Chick in the Library!

Book Trailer of the Week– 34 Pieces of You by Carmen Rodrigues

This week’s book trailer of the week is for 34 Pieces of You by Carmen Rodrigues.
