This week’s book trailer of the week is for Teardrop by Lauren Kate. Eureka’s world changed when she and her mother were involved in a freak accident that left her mother dead. Left to try and make sense of her new life living with her stepmother and father, Eureka is both physically and emotionally scarred. As she tries to heal, Eureka finds solace in two different guys. One, her childhood best friend, Brooks, has always been there for her. Another, is the mysterious new guy, Ander, who Eureka can’t help feeling connected to. Ander also leads Eureka to a discovery about her family’s history that will change her life forever. Click here to find Teardrop in the Library today!

Join us tomorrow (Saturday, January 4) for an Open Creation Session from 1 – 3 p.m. at the Library! Stop by and make something! We’ll provide the space, the supplies, and instructional books for you to create whatever you’d like. Hand sewing, duct-tape creations, paper crafts, and more are all possible in this open creation space. Feel free to bring your own projects to work on, too. Laptops and mobile devices are welcome if that is your preferred method of creating. And of course snacks and drinks will be provided.
Are you an expert with knitting or crochet needles, just learning, or want to learn? Then join us on Friday, January 3, from 4 – 6 p.m. for the monthly Teen Knitting/Crocheting Club meeting at the Library. We have yarn, needles, and the know-how to teach the basics of knitting and crocheting. You can also bring your own supplies – and your friends – for an afternoon of sharing ideas and conversation. Refreshments will be served.
