The Arlington Heights Park District and the Village of Arlington Heights will celebrate Arbor Day on Friday, April 30 at Centennial Park (1209 Burr Oak Drive). A tree will be planted at the park during the event, and a special event sponsored by the J.W. Riley Elementary School SPIN Club will take place. Refreshments will be served at 9:30am, with the program beginning at 10am.
