The full-time position of Readers’ Advisor is available for a passionate reader of adult fiction who possesses strong technology skills. Under the supervision of the Readers’ Advisory Librarian, the Readers’ Advisor plans and leads adult book discussion groups and other fiction-related programs, as well as staffing a busy public service desk assisting adult and teen patrons with books, movies, and music. The Readers’ Advisor will work with other members of the Readers’ Advisory team to select fiction titles for the print collection, create patron-oriented advisory materials, and facilitate reading programs. The Readers’ Advisor also acts as the lead blogger for the adult fiction section of the Library web page, and provides training and troubleshooting for the Library’s eBook collection. The position requires strong communication and public service skills. Bachelor’s degree required. Annual pay $30,810
