In 2010, the Friends raised approximately $44,500 from the sale of used books and other donated items. We gave the Library $29,400 in gifts and support for numerous programs. These included:

• All reading programs
• The Baby Talk program
• Film discussions
• The annual Teddy Bear Walk
• Adult Authors/ Writing Group
• Defibrillator for the South Branch
• iPads trial program
• Battery recycling program
• Computer training classes

Since 1982 the Friends has raised more than $500,000 for gifts to the Library. The Friends fundraising provides the Library with equipment, services and other materials that it might not be able to buy otherwise.
