For Those Tired of the Doom and Gloom on the News…

Abundance book coverMedia doomsayers, with all their talk of recessions, wars, healthcare fights, and collapses, would have you think that the world is going to heck in a handbasket. Is the human race really that bad off, or does the media just make it look that way? Peter Diamandis and Steven Kotler don’t think things are so bad, and they outline why in their bestselling book, Abundance: The Future is Better Than You Think. Praised by renowned futurist Ray Kurzweil as “…a powerful antidote to today’s malaise and pessimism,” Abundance conversationally examines human needs (like healthcare, clean energy, and education), then showcases the scientists and innovators who are striding to fix each issue in the near future.

    What is the X-prize foundation?

      Hi Tim,

The X Prize Foundation is a non-profit led by one of the authors, Peter Diamandis. It focuses on creating radical breakthroughs in technology for the common good of humanity, by offering large cash prizes as incentive to scientists and inventors.
