The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien

Hobbit I’m listening to The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien on CD. It is a great book. I tried reading the lord of the rings but it was to hard. I can’t wait until the movie comes out. I think everyone should read the Hobbit, it has adventure, magic, and a dragon named smog.

Superfudge by Judy Blume

Superfudge I read Super Fudge by Judy Bloom.  The main character in this book is a 5 year old boy named Fudge.  Fudge is a trouble maker and is the most annoying in the family!  You should read this book to see what funny and bad things Fudge does to be the Center of attention.

George’s Marvelous Medicine by Roald Dahl

George's Marvelous Medicine George’s Marvelous Medicine by Roald Dahl.  This is a great book about a boy named George, like me, who is left alone with his horrible grandmother. So when his grandmother asks for her medicine George makes up a magic potion out of stuff around his farm and gives it to her. The potion makes her grow very tall and soon his father wants him to make more, but he can’t remember how. I think this would be a great book for anyone, wheather they like their grandma or not.

Peter and the Starcatchers by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson

Peter and the Starcatchers I listened to the audio book of Peter and the Star Catchers, by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson.  It is a great book, Black Stash was a good name for Captain Hook before Peter cut off his hand.  The person reading did a great job as well, I think it was the same person who read the Harry Potter books.  I can’t wait to listen to the rest of them.

Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer

syndetics-lcArtemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer. Artemis Fowl is a twelve-year-old boy who just happens to be both a genius and a criminal mastermind. In a desperate attempt to restore his family’s fortune, Artemis comes up with a plan to steal gold from the fairies. Along with his trusty butler sidekick “Butler”, he travels to Vietnam on a quest to find a volume of fairy commandments. Once this is achieved and the book deciphered, the next logical step would be to kidnap a fairy and wait for the ransom money to arrive. However, when Artemis kidnaps Captain Holly Short of the LEPrecon, it seems he’s made a mistake. Because these aren’t the cute little elves of bedtime stories. These fairies are armed, dangerous and ready to fight. And they will stop at nothing to get Holly back.

The Twits by Roald Dahl

The Twits The Twits by Roald Dahl
In this book Mr. Twit and Mrs. Twit adore playing pranks on each other.  Like when Mrs. Twit made Mr. Twit eat worms, and when Mr. Twit made Mrs. Twit fly up in the air with balloons.  They were both ugly.  Mr. Twit was born that way but Mrs. Twit was beautiful when she was born.  She became horribly ugly by thinking of mean things day after day, week after week, month after month.  So if you like what I just wrote please read the book or listen to the cassette.
